Vincent Wynne was my student, studying Copywriting. In the two years he was in my class he showed an extraordinary gift for the critical analytical skills required to ascertain the needs of the audience, as well as truly exceptional writing skills.

There is little doubt his abilities as a copywriter were consistently way above those of his classmates, and he demonstrated this by requesting, from a leading South African advertising agency, the opportunity to shadow senior copywriters – one of whom was Billy Dre Rivers, who has become something of a creative icon in this field. That Vincent was soon given his own campaigns to work on at the agency while still a first-year student says much about his skills.

What I found particularly interesting is that Vincent often chooses to fly a different path to the stock standard fare we so often see dished out, and uses his ability to think laterally in conceiving advertising campaigns.

His writing is funny when required, emotive when the brief demands … something he has also demonstrated in his private fiction-writing.

Vincent Wynne is a rare, gifted thinker and writer, and I have no hesitation in recommending him to any organisation that requires a superb content creator.
